had a 706 with same problem, would hold around 70 hp on the dyno and after 30 minutes would drop to 35 hp and start bach firing tied every thing even checked the cam put electric fuel pump on it nothing worked. found inside of manifold ate out put manifold on and still did it, had guy at harvester re wind the heat rizer plate and cured the problem, and it wind,s up like nothing i ever did a lot os tension but the tractor run,s great now. worked on it of and on for 10 week,s like i said tried every thing, new distribitor ,cleaned gas tank, used a dial indicator to find top dead center.after tractor ran 15 minutes there was now gas in carb, now it works , look there once
