I have heard stories of guys taking old cars/trucks with stuck engines and towing them around 20-30mph and popping the clutch (not 1st gear I hope!) and freeing them up,however,after that they burned oil to beat the band.With a stuck engine there is no free lunch.
Of course you cant tow a tractor down the road like that,but if its frozen,its frozen...that totally screws up the rings/cylinder wall.
