We always had excellent service and life from the bolted angle iron type, such as; 37/370, 48/480, and 500 disks vs the competative welded disks of simular size and weight. On smaller and three point hitch disks the welded style probably gives equal service to the bolted style. On modern disks sealed bearings or regresable sealed bearings give better life than old cast iron or wooden bearings. IMHO.
