f-4 mag question

are there 2 different distributer discs for the f-4? i have 2 mags and one disc has the brass insert centered between 2 of the bakelite pin holes. the part number on the back of the disc,not the gear, is 21356-DX. the second disc has the insert closer to the right pin hole and there is no part number on the back of this one. Wouldn't this change the way the mag is timed?
