Like a couple of others have said check and see what ya got for Trans fluid , If it is not Hy Tran or it's eq. THen drain it and flush the rear end and trans with 10 gal of diesel fuel by running it up and down the road for a while an drain it and refill with what is suppose to be in there . Also get your self a I T manual and check and make sure that ALL THE ADJUSTMENTS are correct. THEN GO AND HAVE A SESSION with the auctioneer if he called it to be good then i would press the issue . I have bought alot of I H tractors and if they call it to be a good T/A then it best be . Bought one off and auctioneer in Ind and the called it on the ride and drive and i bought it for 500 more then i had planed on spending only to get it home to find that it was out called him and he asked if i wanted to bring it back to get it fixed or what i told him that sincce i was in the business to fix tractor that i would do it myself he sent me a check or the job and it was for more then i usualy charge i sent him back the differance.
