Orange peel is a rough texture that is present in ALL paint jobs (have to look closely on the good ones) even from the factory -- The degree depends on the paint and the skill of the painter, including the robots in the factory. The stuff in the picture is from using incompatible components, as Allan said. That's why I use more expensive paint -- the components to use are spelled out on the spec sheets.
