49 years ago I was prepping my 47 Ford Coupe hotrod for it's First coats of 32 coats of black lacquer. My best pal's older brother had a body shop and we were allowed one space to work on our cars. So after months of blocking and priming we were set to go to paint. I spent the entire day masking and papering the car. Perfect!. Shop owner came by and said, "nice job, not get rid of all that newspaper. It sheds paper lint everywhere. You need to buy yhe right paper. I won't even paint your car free with that on there". Early lesson I've never forgotten. And this guy wasn't a "perfectionist" just a pro who knew his materials. Gordo
