Hi Gene....Gear timing of the rotor??? Don't follow what you mean by that. The mag is a proffessionaly re-built one fro Mag-Man. I set the double dots on the gov gear with the double dots on the cam gear and the single dot on the cam gear with the single dot on the crank gear. I set # 1 piston at TDC and matched it with the flywheel mark and the #1 distributor wire. Ain't that right???
