H --- How long?

How long does it take to seat the rings after a complete overhaul? I've worked her for about 2 hours after getting it up to running temp(I don't have a plow for the H so I drug a log up and down the road). I still get some white smoke at start up....smells like oil. Is there something else I should be looking at...Thanks for the help.

PS...I re-torqued the head and re-set the valve lash after the work out.
