Well my oil cup finally decided to come off. It was just waiting for spring! The inch and half of water and ice(and rust) inside it definitely did not look oilly! It looks like there may have been an aluminum coating in the bottom, any one know. And will the upper portion with the screens and mesh clean up by just flushing with diesel fuel or parts cleaner fluid? Doesn't appear to be much crud, but may be some rusty film in those screens. My naturally ventilated , all-seasons storage shed does not have central heating...yet. So, this makes for slow progress on elementary repairs, just so CNKS does not get after me about not getting this off earlier. I do appreciate the comments.
