No chance that Navistar/IH would ever go back into the small,light truck segment.They only bought IH for the big vehicles,and basically threw out everything else.
Ford has hinted at a reborn 66-77 Bronco (much the size and "spirit" of the Scout)only in modern equipment (diesel engines,FWD/4x4,coil springs....etc).If they could keep it basic enough and fuel efficient/off roadable,they might sell a ton.
