before you buy one, check that the one you have is not letting coolant get pass it because its loose in the housing. it must be tight vertical and horizontal. i had a loose one in a 240 and it would not warm up, i checked it in cold to boiling water and all went good. i then shimmed it tight in the housing with sone alumiunm coil stock, reinstalled snap ring and it went to operating range from then on. thermostats don't go bad that often.
