Tractor vet is right, gotta pull the whole rockshaft housing/rear end cover assembly. Not a bad job, just remove the platform, remove the seat and use the seat mounting bolt holes to attach a chain. Check an I&T manual to familiarize yourself with the draft control linkage so you don't damage it and get it back together right. The pedal is probably worn too, you'll probably need to have it drilled out and have a bushing installed. Replace the pin and have it fit to the new bushing. Make sure to get a grease fitting back in there when you're all done.
