Throttle Control

Is it just my 300U or is there supposed to be a ton of slack between the throttle lever,the roll pin,and the actual pivot? Seems I can move the lever 1/2 way before the roll pin engages the pivot.Its like the roll pin is way undersized for the pivot hole,yet it fits the lever like a glove.
