I work in a Sand plant here in ILL. and we quit calling our coarse sand Blasting sand but a lot of place still buy it for that. But I guess since they have taken off the Blasting sand name the Company is not as liable. I have been using a little finer sand for blasting and it seem to cut a little better than the coarse and it bounces back a little less. But always wear a Respirator!!
