Thanks for the reply David. I was just thinking that here is a farmer that invested in equipment with fast hitch that I am sure the Dealer would have said was a superior system (which from what I have read was) and then the company drops the fast hitch for the more popular 3pt. I also know that there would have been alot of discussion at the factory so they could accomodate the farmer who had alot of influence in their decisions. The arms on a later 3pt IH almost looks like you could remove the ends with the balls in it and insert the fast hitch! This is just a casual observation that got me to thinking...Fred
