When the machine shop put my 282 diesel back together they did not get the two cam bearings with holes turned the right way to allow the oil to come up the galleys. There is also two special rocker arm supports that allows the oil to continue up and into the assembly. My terminology may not be correct here but we ended up having to run a quarter line teed off the oil pressure port up into the rocker arm assembly through the valve cover. All I know is that it was either that or take the whole thing back apart again (not a choice) you gotta get oil up there somehow. Mine works fine and is used for a puller turbocharged. It does not start easy either. I recently put a new set of injectors in my other 282 and have trouble with two of them leaking also. I plan to pull them and send them back for replacement. I know I put the copper gasket rings in against the cups. Hope this helps. Migraine
