I don't know where else to post this question, and you guys seem to have a ton of answers on most issues dealing with old equipment, so here goes... I have been given an old Lincoln welder, tag along, that was made sometime in the mid to late 60's. Supposed the welder worked until the day it was replaced, but after sitting for a number of years, it will no longer start. No spark. It has a continental gas engine with a mag. I would like to replace the mag with a distributor, and the mount looks similar to a C123 Farmall, like in my Super C. The tag on the Continental engine reads "Code - 1668, Engine number - 303249". It has a flat head like an old ford. Anyone know what size engine this is, and if a farmall distibutor would fit in place of the mag? If so, which distibutor should I be looking for? Thanks in advance for any advice.
