Got the old pump out,and had to swap over the gears from one to another, and then installed the "new" old one.I was surprised to see the gasket was loose and in good shape so I reused that.Had a bit of a time lining up the bolts for the manifold pipes (had to loosen the pump again before retightening it).But its in,doesnt leak and seems to have consistent good flow.Unlike the other one that was very "jerky".I did find the rear seal (at the distributor housing base)was seeping and milky hydraulic fluid was dribbling out...so this may be where the air was entering the system). It now makes zero whine and seems to be what the Dr ordered. The Fast Hitch still wont lift the rear off the ground...but maybe its because it has loaded tires(I think)? I do notice faster response from the Fast Hitch with a 55 gal weight drum than before.Hope it lasts a long time!
