You could use the LP to power the tractor and do all the heating items you described and then deduct it all as farm fuel expense on you taxes (sssshhhh) don't tell the IRS. Just every once in the while you need to pay for a tank for "personal use" to show you are heating your house. Just like how every once in the while a steer in the feedlot dies and gets turned into hamburger.
