Hardcore

Here's some pics of a local grain farmer's herd. He's headquartered about 9 mile north of us and has dang near all the available ground around us tilled up waiting for planting. As you can see, he's 100% hardcore IH and loves to use these grand old ladies for his operation. Pictured are a 1486, 1466, 1066, and a 1206. A 966 is lurking behind them all--just couldn't get it in the shot.

An interesting story about the 1206: it belonged to a fellow who owned property across the road from Mom. The 1206 languished in a barn for years neglected and unused except for a short spell a few years ago by Brother Bill for tillage at Mom's. Mr. Bullock was able to acquire the 1206 last year, went to work on it, and now the old gal is back in the fields where it belongs. Can't think of a finer home for it!
