Ramon - What you have is a VERY common occurrence. Due to the way they work, the bendix gear (the small gear on the starter) gets slammed - while spinning - into the ring gear every time you use the starter. Over time the teeth on both the bendix and the ring gear get chipped and worn. Eventually they wear out like on yours. You can probably get by temporarily by putting an new bendix on the starter (about $40). But since the ring gear is badly worn, the new bendix will wear rapidly. It also may tend to jam in the ring gear. Long term solution should to replace the ring gear. You can remove and reverse the existing ring gear. However if you go to all the trouble to split the tractor to get at the rign gear, spend an extra $30 and replace it with a new one!
