Case/IH C 90

I'm trying to replace the hydraulic filter, the new filter (p/n 431145A1) will not fit. The exterior dimensions of the new and old filters are the same, but the old one is open on both ends while the new filter has a bypass valve built into one end. The tractor appears to have a bypass built into the canister (not part of the old filter). The dealer doesn't know what's going on, but they are looking. Does anyone know of a service bulletin on this issue? Thanks!
