Will - How much is Charlynn PS worth? Do like Allen suggests – remove the pump belt and run the tractor without PS for a day....then YOU decide it’s “value”! Seriously, used Charlynn motors run $200 - $250+. New they are close to $500 last time I checked. Then you gotta add cost of the pump and installation. Regarding the steering motor leak, try tightening all the screws that hold the motor halves together. (You need a 12 point socket, 5/16”(?) for this.) Also tighten the two allen head screws that hold the hose manifold to the motor body. These often work loose and cause the manifold to leak. There’s also a pair of O-rings that seal the manifold to the body that can fail and leak – replace them if necessary. You got good deal on your M!
