Will, What part of Texas are you in? I recently drug home an M cotton picker, and it has power steering. It has a reversible tranny top and reversed differential. The power steering could have been part of the cotton picker, along with the tranny top. Mine is a Char-Lyn also, and the pump mounts to the governor and looks factory. Email me and I can send some photos. I would like to see photos of yours. There was a Cotton Harvester tractor made. It should have an X20 suffix on the end of the serial number. That would mean it came from the factory with High Drum axles and 20" front wheel. If your axle housing ends are flanged, then it originally had the high cotton axles and was converted back to a standard tractor. Mine is a low cotton tractor, hence it has the reversible top and not the special axles. You get one or the other, not both. When you add both, you get a High Crop MV wanna-be.
