It used to be that a guy just went down to the local hardware store and picked up a quart of rust-oleum aluminum paint and a good soft brush, wire brushed the rims and painted. The results were always very good. For some strange reason now we think the tractor has to end up looking about 1,000% better than it did when it was brand new, and I guess that's OK. It's your tractor, do it as you want. I still paint my rims with a brush and aluminum paint.
