By gearbox I assume you mean the transmission. Most all of the linear ball bearings on the old Farmalls are metric and can be purchased at any bearing store. Just measure ID, OD and width in millimeters and ask your bearing guy for ABEC 1 rated bearings. With a few exceptions they will be MUCH cheaper than the dealer. The needle bearings for the governor rockshaft can be purchased for about $3 apiece, the three piece thrust bearing is a dealer item and I think it will run you about 20 bucks.
