Are you sure gas is flowing from the tank to the carburetor? Loosen the gas line at the carburetor and see if you have a good stream of gas pouring out. If not there's blockage in the gas tank and needs to be clean. If there's a good stream of gas at the carb. inlet the float valve in the carb. may be stuck closed preventing gas to enter the carb, make sure the shutoff valve is open and isn't blocked with dirt or rust too. Those cracks that you have described on the intake manifold may be not be sealing and causing a vacuum leak too. Hal
