I harvest about 65 acres of soybeans every year. With me working at an off-farm job, I have to harvest in the evenings/weekend. It is really difficult for me to get the harvest done in a timely manner (I do my own combining, while waiting in line a long time at the elevator in town to unload. I am considering getting a small bin (3500 bu.), but don't care too much for the price of a new one (about $12000 w/setup). It was suggested to me to buy a used bin. Is it possible to buy a used bin? Doesn't it have to be taken apart and then re-assembled when you get it home? Doesn't doing all of this, in addition to having it hauled, make it almost as good to put up a new one instead? Thanks for any advice and feedback from this truly helpful newsgroup!
