There are a ton of used bins out there. I put up a used one a few years ago at about a 1/4 of the cost.
A 3500 bu. wouldn't take long to put up, you can rent the jacks for that. Used bins from a jockey are usually taken down. Check a farm paper for a source.
$12000 for a 3500 bu bin seems steep, although steel prices have skyrockted.
