How would it be to spread your granulated fertilizer over your field with a big rotary spreader. Then use a spring tooth harrow to mix the soil and fertilizer. Use a drag behind the harrow to level the soil. Use liquid fertilizer when planting the seed. If soybeans were grown on this field last, I would only use liquid fertilizer. When I plant sweet corn I soak the seed for 15 minutes in liquid fertilizer and then plant the seed. I pour liquid fertilizer into each row on top of the seed. This was Silver Queen corn and the stalks got so tall they looked like field corn. Hal
