Yes, oil pressure can be too high - usually the result of a bad relief valve in the pump. H's and M's spec for oil pressure is 75 psi. My H runs 75 psi at idle cold, 65 psi at idle hot, 70 psi full throttle hot. That is on a complete major overhaul (cut crank, etc.) Oh yeah, anything over 20 psi at idle hot is perfectly fine for these old beasts!
