I have a '53 SUPER H and considered switching to a wide front. But then, it should have power steering and of course, it would be prudent to mount a front hydraulic pump so I could run the loader without shifting to neutral first. Having done all that, it should REALLY have a 3 point hitch, so I could use the tractor with modern implements. Add up that bill and you will probably come up with the same conclusion that I did... "Buy a different tractor and accept the fact the the old tractors are just that... OLD TRACTORS" They are fun to look at and play with, but they aren't much fun to farm with unless you have strong arms to turn and a strong back to lift the tongue up onto the drawbar. Maybe for Christmas, I'll get a NEW tractor. :)
