You have the right idea. Just twist the wires together and make a nice it nice and snug. You run the wire through one of the bearing caps bolts and have it long enough to reach the other bolt. When you finish the twisting and then run one of the wire ends through the other bolt head and pull the twisted wires tight and twist the wire again to secure it. 5 or 6 twists should be enough. Then cut off any access wire. We called this lacing. Hal
