Well I lost my Newest H today. If I can wipe the tears long enough I will tell you what not to do.
We are having a dry spell here in NY where I am and no rain in the forcast untill next week so I figured I would get my trusty pump and fill barrells to water the berries and garden. I have a 50' by 100' pond that to my and my neighbors suprise is about 12 foot deep or more I guess.
I had a dead battery on the H when I went to start it so I figured I would leave it running while I filled the drums on the trailer.
So I get the pump running and am waiting for it to prime when I see the trailer starting to move. I looked up and the tractor is rolling on a fairly flat surface I tryed to reach the brakes but she started down the imbankment so insted of getting run over I desided she would only go a few feet in and I would pull her out with the SM or something. UH UH there she went running and everything untill I could only see bubbles and the rear of the trailer. I could not see any of my beloved H at all.
I thought and figured big wrecker no I will see if the neighbor is around he has dozers and big tractors. I got in the old chevy and took off and here he was coming up the road on his pulling tractor I stopped him and he figured he would get the D6 but then said wait I will get the M&M
A4T and I said ok I will go get the chains hooked. Well let me tell you that water was freeking cold I kept gasping and after about drowning and the 4th try I got a chain around the axel. Then I had to un hook the Ball trailer hook up . Got that and hooked a chain to the trailer with the chevy and got that out of the way. Just about then here comes the Big osilator.
Well shes Out not to awfull hard but I have a bad feeling knowing she went in running that she might end up with a bent rod or something.
Well I got to go start draining fluid and trying not to drown in my tears while I am at it.
I guess its about time to get those breaks fixed so they work a little better to lock and have it stay put.
STILL CANT FIGUIRE OUT HOW SHE STARTED ROLLING ON FLAT GROUND THOUGH.
JON
