Go to a boat store and get some storage fogging oil that you use in outboards. Take the plugs out and turn it over to get the water out, then spray the fogging oil in the plug holes. Turn the engine over several times to work that oil in good. Change the oil and drain the carb. Put some WD 40 in the distributor and you should be good to go. I used that fogging oil on a outboard that went to the bottom and it runs fine.
