Unfortunately, the 6000 series did not use the transmission from the 5088/5288. They are the same tranmissions as the ones in the 3000 series with the exception that the TA is shifted electronically. The 5088/5288 tranmission was not used until the 7000 series (7288,7488) and not many of these were produced before the sale to Tenneco. The shifting levers were moved to the right side in the 6000 series, so they are more like the 3688 setup.
