No-till sort of depends on what type of hay it is and other weed problems. Roundup is "cheap" now, but sometimes it is best to plow and bury everything and start over. Also Allan may not have a drill available that will penetrate the hard ground after the Roudupup takes care of the existing crop. Alfalfa has small seed and it can be difficult to get a good stand. Otherwise I agree.
