Buddy of mine has a pretty clean old Farmall C with narrow front, good tin, paint, rubber etc....looks like a recent resto. She's wearin a woods belly mower that looks quite new; Her main problem is (I think) a crack in the block. Someone tried to patch it (it looks like they used two or three tubes of JB weld!), and according to my buddy it ran flawlessly until it started leaking. I only have taken a quick look at it, I plan to take a closer look some night this week.....but in the mean time....wondered if you fellas could give me a price range for the machine; and what do you think the mower might be worth? He doesn't know what the package is worth....but he said..."I'll just throw out a figure...and I know it might be high but tell me what you think....$1500 for the whole unit.." OF course I used my best poker face, and said I would have to figure out just what is wrong with it before I decide if I am interested. Well, that got me thinkin I better take a closer look at what is troubling the old girl. Any advice on what to look for regarding the block patch? Thanks Brian
