The easiest place to find something like a complete PTO assembly for an M would be at a tractor salvage yard. Just tell the guy what you have and ask for what you need.

While they did sell hydraulic cylinders as optional equipment for Farmall tractors, they were actually installed on the towed equipment, like plows, planters, mower-conditioners, and other implements where a hydraulic lift was necessary. Back then, farmers were relatively poor and/or thrifty compared to now, and would have one cylinder for all their equipment. Nowadays, equipment generally comes with its own hydraulic cylinders, or uses generic hydraulic cylinders available at farm supply stores and machinery dealers.

The only reason you'd want a "genuine Farmall" cylinder is for historical accuracy on a show tractor. Otherwise, a generic cylinder of the proper size is just fine.

Research the equipment that needs the hydraulic cylinder first, so you know what size cylinder it needs. A 3"x8" cylinder might not be the right size, then you bought it for nothing.

A 2pt or 3pt hitch was NEVER a factory option on an M. Everything was either bolted-on or hooked to the drawbar. There are aftermarket 3pt hitches, but they are expensive, and limited in what they can do because the tractor was never designed to have a 3pt hitch on it. You can't use one to plow, for example.
