I fought mine for 5 years trying to get it running right and able to start wothout pulling it off everytime I wanted to play.I spent about two hours a few weeks ago triple checking eveything, timing float level, etc. and found my float was set right, and timing was dead on but she was still flooding after three or four cranks.Took a spare needle and seat gasket I had and installed it so I have 2 on there, that was enough to stop the flooding.now for you I would suggest new plugs first,Autolite 3077s cleaned mine up nice.Pull the little cover that moves when you retard the spark and file the points a little, just enough to clean them up and recheck the gap on those. For statring this is what I do,turn the gas on,set throttle about half way,Advance the mag just above half way or even more, mines almost at the point where it would normally kill the engine, yours may vary, pull the hand crank up once or twice, maybe even three times, then push the choke in for one crank, but not anymore as they flood easy, then try her again. If you cant get it started again, them pull your plug and make sure its not covere3d with gas,but it probably will be.Go have a cup of coffee or a cold beer depending how mad it makes you, then start again! If you can pull it off and it starts most likely you have a probelm with the mag.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
