If the intake manifold butterflys are not connected on 1/2 of the intake system, there will be no gasoline going to those cyl on warmup. These units do not start on diesel unless very warm/hot, then they won't crank due to compression loading. I'd look to the intake pluming. I seem to remember a coupling (or some linkage that might cause this symptom. Good luck, they are great units. Jim Nicholson
