Yes, they are specific. Made that mistake once. I have no idea what tractor our 2250 came off of, but we had to drill several 1" holes in each bracket to clear the heads of frame rail-to front bolster bolts, to get the brackets flush up against the frame rails of the 706. The next winter, 706 went in the shop for rear end work, and we had to modify the brackets further yet to mount the loader on the 826. Be careful, don't take anything anyone tells you as 100% accurate until the brackets are on your tractor.
