I have a 1490 IH. I like it, it's a great machine. It's a 12' swing
frame MoCo. I pull it with a JD 4010 (85 hp) and the fellow
before me pulled it with a 656 (65ish hp?) You wouldn't want
much less than that. It's worth $500, but if it needs a new sickle
and guards it'll be $500 more. Last year I had to replace the
hydraulic motor and that was $600+ and a month of downtime. I
would still get one again though.
