Hi Dave, Just to add on what Hugh has said, you don't have to jack up the tractor. Just yank 'em up tight as you can. Don't forget the inside bolts too. If you think about it, that torque tube is actually an open-bottomed box and this is exactly the area where the stress is gonna be placed. Also, we forget that there are "twisting-type" forces at work on the little guy and this twisting action is gonna show up at the weakest area: the torque tube. That’s why I just can't emphasise enough, the use of additional truss reinforcements underneath her belly to cancel out this "twisting" force when using a loader. Without ‘em, it is not a question of “if” it will break, it is just a matter of “when” is it going to happen. Allan
