Thanks Hugh, I remember that story well from one of your earlier posts. I'm doing this both for prep to put on a loader and as a result of some log moving I did with a boom attached to my front snow plow frame (poor man's loader). As a result of the log moving, the bolts have loosened a bit. Would you jack up both halfs a bit or will just tightening the bolts draw them in enough?
