706 shifter oil litght

Bought a 706 everything seems tight and works lik it should, but it is hard to get into reverse the other gears are fine.also the oil light comes on and blinks when you push the cluth in?? It has 1500 psi hydralic press when hot is this right? Never owned a 706 before,as I guess you have figered out by now Thanks for any help
