Hugh McKay, Jimmy King, Somebody: Help!

Hey Guys,

Sorry to drag this over on the Farmall board, but since this is where you guys hang out, thought I'd catch ya here.

On the New Holland 495 mower.

It just does not "carry" right and I'm trying to find the culprit.

Okay, I find that I need to put fluid back in that left rear tire to give it anchor, but that's not the big problem.

In trying to adjust that header "float", I can easily get the right side to balance out and float, but the left side has a broken 'inner' lift spring.

How much of a nightmare is that gonna be to change out this winter? Will those end "plugs" just 'unscrew' from the springs once I get it pulled up outta there?

What's the repair proceedure?
