It has to be either leaking it or burning it. If it leaks, just trace it
down. If it is burning it, just keep adding oil. As long as it runs
well it won't hurt anything. You could also check the breather. If
the engine is worn, it can blow oil out the breather when you are
working it, but not so much at idle.
Or maybe you lost the drain plug......LOL!
