I used to run a 1066 with about 2000 hrs on it. Anytime you went to the field and pulled hard in low range, but especially in low third, there was a VERY loud transmission whine. This tractor is still being used every day by my Dad, and will be used by me next spring to disk 24 acres of CRP. Never been touched and it will still sound that whine whenever you pull her hard in low range. Tractor now has approaching 2900 hrs on her.
